I see some have commented on issues with the door seals, does anyone have any more information to share?

I assume you refer to Martyn, who has indeed been adding to his own seals to produce a better lock.

In more detail, based on more recent research...

It appears as though on some MG3's (early ones particularly) the really high winds and rain we've experienced has seen small amounts of water build up around the forward top corner of the front doors. NO WATER IS BEING LET INTO THE CAR, but what is happening, is when the doors are opened, the water is running along the cabin seals and obeying the laws of gravity when they no longer have a barrier to prevent them. This is what results in the occasional drips down as one enters the car.

There are many factors at play, including weather, but I'm assured MG are investigating.

Fortunately it's only happened to me about twice (and both times since my original post) so I can't really say I'm overly affected by it. But all the same, I'm holding out for the official fix from MG.
